Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Southern Chinese martial art
with legendary connections to the Shaolin Temple, it is believed to have been formed by five Shaolin Grandmasters 250 to 300
years ago, passed down by the Grandmaster nun Ng Mui to a teenage girl after whom the style is named, Yim Wing Chun.
It is
an effective close quarters hand to hand combat and self-defense system, which does not rely on brute strength.
Our purpose is to acquire individuals who want to become martial artists, through effort and
hard work hence kung fu. Individuals who strive to be honest, moral, and respectful to their
seniors and teachers. Individuals who want to continue propagating Wing Chun as passed down
from Leung Sheung, through Kenneth Chung and Carl Dechiara II, in Southern Connecticut.
